1 Dead, 5 Injured In Shooting At Bronx Subway Station

THE BRONX, NYC – One person was killed, and five others were injured in shooting on a subway platform in The Bronx Monday, police said.

According to police, one innocent male bystander was taken to St. Barnabas hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A 29-year-old woman was shot in the face, a 28-year-old was shot in the right arm, a 15-year-old male was shot in the thigh and ear, a 14-year-old female was shot in foot and a 71-year-old was also wounded.

All of the victims were listed in stable condition.

The shooting was a result of a fight that started aboard the northbound 4 train that spilled out on the platform. An individual from a group or one of two groups on the train opened fire as the doors opened on the Mount Eden station.

There have been no arrests as police search for suspect (s).
