1 Person Shot And Killed Near Sexxy Red’s Music Video Shoot, Rapper Sends Condolences

FLORIDA- One person was shot and killed on Thursday night and police believe it may be connected to rapper Sexxy Red’s music video shoot.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a disturbance at the Oakland Park Flea Market, in the 3100 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard, police said, The Miami Herald reports.

The 911 call was in relation to a music video Sexxy Red was shooting.

A Broward DJ took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce that the new rapper was filming a music video at the flea market.

As police officers were at the Oakland Park Flea Market, they reportedly heard gunshots and fled to a near-by gas station where they found two men with gunshot wounds.

One person was pronounced dead on the scene and the other was taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.

The victims were allegedly confronted by several “subjects” before the shooting occurred and fled the scene in vehicles, according to The Miami Herald.

Detectives are still investigating if the shooting was related to Sexxy Red’s video shoot.
