MEMPHIS- A person was shot Thursday afternoon at a Family Dollar store, located next to the cookie shop where rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed a day before.
The incident took place as fans and others gathered in the parking lot of Makeda’s Butter Cookies.
A drive-by shooting reportedly left one person wounded. That victim was taken to a near-by hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The Memphis Police Department tweeted that the person who was shot had been placed in critical condition.
Police arrested 3 suspects, and the cause of the shooting is under investigation.
Rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed on Wednesday inside of the cookie shop.
According to the owner, someone drove up in a vehicle and began shooting at the 36-year-old rapper after he had just walked into her store.
