STATEN ISLAND- Tina Pignataro, 100, of Staten Island, was admitted to a Hospital with COVID-19 on Dec. 2.
On Dec. 6., Pignataro celebrated her 100th birthday with nurses and other Hospital employees at Staten Island University Hospital on Dec.6.
She celebrated her 100th birthday with the nurses and staff at the field Hospital at Staten Island University Hospital on Dec. 6.
Pignataro and her sister, Marie, who was admitted in the same Hospital, were discharged to fanfare on Jan. 11.
Pignataro is truly an inspiration, and gives hopes to those who are suffering from this deadly virus.
