COLORADO- An 11-year-old boy has died after his parents forced him to drink large amounts of water.
Police have arrested Ryan, 41, and 42-year-old Tara Sabin for killing their 11-year-old son Zachary Sabin, by forcing him to drink four 24 oz bottles of water in 4 hours without any food.
The medical examiner’s office says the boy was found dead with blood and foam coming out of his mouth, with a urine-filled diaper on. The office has ruled that the victim died of forced water intoxication on March 11th.
Zachary’s body had bruises to his head, buttocks and arms. He also had a contusion to his left eye.
The victims step-mother and father have been charged with first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death along with 6 counts of misdemeanor child abuse charges.
