ST. LOUIS- An 11-year-old boy is accused of pistol-whipping a man during a carjacking in an attempt to help his mother, police say.
The incident happened Tuesday night.
The victim told St. Louis police that he had agreed to take the woman and her son to a location that night.
The victim said that before arriving at the destination, the woman grabbed his keys from the ignition while her son struck him in the head several times with the gun, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Police said that the woman then took the vehicle and drove away with her son.
The victim was treated for his injuries.
Police have made no arrests.
