THE BRONX, NY- An 11-year-old girl was killed in broad daylight after a man on a scooter was shooting at another man running down a street and struck her instead, police said.
In a news conference, the NYPD released a video which shows a man standing in front of a Bronx building when two people on a scooter approached him at around 4:50 p.m. on Monday.
The men can be seen passing the man on their scooters he began to run in the opposite direction. One of the suspects is then seen aiming his gun at the man before he fired shots.
The girl, identified as Kyhara Tay, was struck once in her abdomen and to Lincoln Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests.
