WISCOUNSIN- A 12-year-old boy is being accused of stabbing his younger brother, according to authorities.
A judge ruled that the juvenile can be charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide last week.
Police say that the young boy stabbed his 7-year-old brother in the back, chest, abdomen, and all while allegedly holding a pillow over his brother’s mouth to stop him from screaming, according to several news outlets.
The victim told police “I was dead for a while”, KBJR6 reported.
The victim is recovering from his injuries, and is expected to live.
The brutal attack took place on January 11, at a home in the Town Of Solon Sprigs, according to KBJR6.

The suspect was sent to an adult court due to state laws, but the judge may send him to juvenile court on March 5.
