PHILADELPHIA- A 12-year-old boy was fatally shot at his front door.
Sadeek Clark-Harrison attempted to open the front door to his home after hearing someone knocking around 3 a.m. on Sunday, but before he could, a single shot was fired through the door, KYW-TV reported.
Harrison was shot once in his head.
First responders attempted to save the boys life, but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The boy was home with his grandmother and 10-year-old sister.
Police say that the boy’s killer fled the scene and they’re asking for the public’s help.
Harrison’s mother told the news station, “That’s my king, my son, my star, my moon, my shine, they took it away from me,” adding “They dimmed the light on me when they took my son away from me.”
