FLORIDA- 26-year-old Timothy Miller is in custody after luring a 12-year-old boy into his car, who jumped out to save his life.
According to authorities, the 12-year-old says that Miller had told him he would give him a ride home, telling him that he often drove kids home.
The 12-year-old, whose identity is not known, told authorities that Miller began to ask him for drugs, drove erratically and was staring at him in a weird way.
When the child asked attempted to open the passenger door, Miller allegedly told him that he couldn’t leave, that’s when he jumped of the truck as it was moving.
The child was knocked unconscious, but some witnesses came to his rescue, and even held Miller until the police came.
Miller has been charged with kidnapping under the age of 13, child neglect and resisting violence.
