A 14-year-old girl was shot and killed while filming a TikTok dance video with her friends, according to police.
Police say two of Aaliyah Salazar’s friends, who are also minors, were handling a firearm as they were attempting to film a TikTok dance video when it discharged, striking Salazar in August, reports Fox News.
Police were able to see a video that Salazar filmed minutes before she was killed and saw her dancing as someone is in the background “fiddling with something.”
Both of the minors have been charged with felony manslaughter and misdemeanor possession of a weapon.
The owner of the gun, 21-year-old Emiliano Vargas, was charged with providing or permitting a juvenile to possess a gun.
