NEW JERSEY- A 14-year-old girl walked into a Mexican restaurant Wednesday to use their bathroom, and left a newborn baby behind.
The teen girl was seen on surveillance footage, asking the restaurant’s owner if she could the bathroom. She’s seen going into the bathroom, and exiting, holding a newborn baby wrapped inside of a towel.
The owner of The El Patron Mexican restaurant was left in shock, as well as a customer who witnessed the incident.
Alease Scott, who happens to be a veteran, and a CPR and first aid-trained preschool teacher was approached by the teen mother, who asked Scott for help.
Scott asked if she could check the baby’s rital’s, and before she knew it, the young girl ran out of the restaurant, saying she had another child to pick up from somewhere.
