Police say the teen student was charged with attempted assault after he allegedly put his belt around the teacher’s neck during class.
The incident happened on March 2.
The teen, who is a special needs student, walked up from behind the special education teacher and allegedly put his belt around her neck before she was able to grab it and turn around to see the boy, police say.
