THE BRONX, NYC- A 15-year-old suspect has been charged with murder in the death of an 11-year-old girl who was fatally shot in The Bronx on Monday.
Police say the teen suspect is also facing charges of manslaughter and two counts of illegal possession of weapon, the NYPD said, according to reports.
Police are searching for a second suspect.
Two male suspects on a scooter were caught on surveillance footage chasing an unknown male on Fox St Monday. One male on the scooter was then seen firing at the man, striking 11-year-old Kyhara Tay in her stomach.
Kyhara was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
