ATLANTA- Police have arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy in connection to a deadly shooting at a Chick-fil-A parking lot over the weekend.
Police say the unidentified 16-year-old and victim, identified as 21-year-old Kani Lewis, were sitting in a car at the fast-food restaurant when the teen suspect “negligently” fired a gun, which struck and killed the victim, WSBTV reported.
Lewis was rushed to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The 16-year-old has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
