NYC- A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in the connection to a deadly shooting in front of a High School that killed a 16-year-old girl and injured two others.
Police located the suspect, Jeremiah Ryan, hours after the shooting outside of the South Bronx Educational Campus. He was in his home and reportedly had a brief standoff with them before he was taken into custody, NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell said during a brief news conference.
Ryan has been charged with murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Angellyh Yambo, 16, was killed in the shooting and two others were wounded. Yambo and another victim were about a half block away from the suspect and the third victim was a block away.
There is no known motive for the shooting as of now, investigators.
