THE BRONX, NYC – A 17-year-old was shot and killed in The Bronx over social media beef involving his girlfriend, his family says.
Laquia Dash, a football player at his school, was shot three times around 4:15 p.m., a block from his high school, according to police.
Video reportedly shows Dash running from the gunman, when he’s shot and collapses on the ground.
The deadly incident stemmed from an online feud with his girlfriend and another girl, who allegedly brought her boyfriend for protection, his family told The Post.
His grandmother says his girlfriend was “beating” up the other girl when her boyfriend put Dash’s girlfriend in a headlock. Dash then put the alleged shooter in a headlock to get him off his girlfriend when he turned around and shot him.
He was shot three times in his neck and back.
Dash was taken to Lincoln hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
