TENNESSEE- An 18-year-old month boy was found living in a cage on Thursday after police were responding to a call about animal cruelty.
The toddler was found inside of a tiny dog cage that was covered in feces, urine, bugs and was surrounded by more than 600 animals that included rats, dogs, snakes, roosters and rabbits, according to The New York Daily News.
Police seized over 100 Marijuana plants, along with the animals in the home, which which were underweight and abused.
The toddler’s mother was arrested, along with two other family members.
All 3 were charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated cruelty to animals, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, manufacturing Marijuana, possession of a firearm by convicted felon and drug paraphernalia.
