QUEENS, NY – An 18-year-old boy was struck by a Queens subway train Monday morning and died.
The teen, whose identity hasn’t been released, was in a brawl on the platform with another teen at the Elmhurst Ave station at around 11 a.m., police said.
The 18-year-old male jumped onto the train tracks in an attempt to escape the 19-year-old when he slipped and fell.
A Jamaica-bound F train approached the station, and he was run over by the train.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
No charges have been filed.
