2 Missing Rapper’s & Friend Found Dead 2 Weeks After Being Reported Missing

MICHIGAN- Tragic ending…

Two missing rappers and their friend were all found dead in an abandoned Michigan apartment building on Thursday, almost two weeks after they disappeared when their scheduled performance was cancelled.

The bodies of Armani Kelly, Montoya Givens and Dante Walker were discovered by investigators inside of a building in Highland Park, near the Detroit border, police told the Detroit News.

Police say a person of interest is being questioned.

The three bodies were discovered under mounds of debris inside the basement of the apartment complex, police said.

It appears that all three men were shot, according to a source, according to the Detroit News.

Wicker, known as his rap name, B12, and Kelly, whose rap name was Marley Whoopa, had been scheduled to perform at a birthday party at a Detroit lounge on the night he disappeared, but the show was cancelled.

Kelly reportedly told his fiancée that the show at Lounge 31 had been canceled due to an issue with equipment and that he had planned to meet up with his two friends to find some open mic events, the Detroit News reported.

He then picked up Givens, 31, and Wicker, also 31, in his car that evening.

Kelly’s fiancée said she couldn’t reach him after 7:30 p.m. after calling and texting him. It was around that time that the other victims’ phones were also off.

As I wrote before, police found Kelly’s car earlier this week, a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, on the road without a license plate. A 15-year-old boy who was driving the car was taken into custody.

The teen told police that a man had instructed him to pick up the car from a location on Detroit’s west side, the Detroit News reported.

Investigators went through the boy’s phone calls and texts with the man and discovered that he had an outstanding warrant involving fraud. His home was searched, and he was taken in on Monday for questioning.

The teen was charged in connection with driving the stolen vehicle.

Police also have a man on video, wearing gloves and cleaning out Kelly’s vehicle.

My condolences go out to all the victims’ families…
