21 Savage Files Motion To Toss Out Evidence From 2019 “Unlawful” Arrest

Rapper 21 Savage wants to stop prosecutors from using evidence that was collected after he was pulled over during a traffic stop.

The rapper’s legal team filed a motion to toss out evidence from the 21 Savage’s “unlawful” arrest by ICE in Feb. in 2019 in Atlanta during the Super Bowl weekend, according to TMZ.

His lawyers claim that the rapper wasn’t doing anything illegal when he was stopped.

As for the gun that was found inside of the rapper’s car, his lawyers claim, “there was no illegality for the weapon to be in the car.”

Officers reported that the rapper was seen throwing a bottle of codeine and his car keys out his window after they stopped him. Police say they also found a gun in his vehicle during a search.

When discovered that the rapper’s visa was expired and contacted ICE. They arrested him and he was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of a gun.

The rapper has two criminal cases before he faces his immigration case.
