Rapper 21 Savage, who was arrested early Sunday, has two twin sisters that are still living in Britain, and there’s a video of his mother with an English accent, according to Daily Mail.
21 Savage who was born Sheyaa Bin Abraham was arrested by ICE, who claim that he been here in the United States “unlawfully” since 2006.
His birth certificate that was obtained by Daily Mail, proves that 21 Savage was born to British parents in Newham Hospital in east London, in 1992.
He was then taken by his mother to live in Atlanta, after she split with his father. She actually still has a strong British accent.
He also has two twin sisters, yes, that still reside in the U.K., who are dancers.
His twin sisters tweeted that his arrest is “fishy” and they have said that they’ve deleted old tweets about him especially after fans urged one of them to do so, so that it basically doesn’t hurt his case.
An ICE spokesman said: ‘His whole public persona is false. He actually came to the US from the UK as a teen and overstayed his visa.”
What makes his case worse is that he was he was arrested on felony drug charges in October of 2014 in Fulton County, Georgia.
21 Savage, who was believed to be Atlanta this whole time, has Grammy nominated songs, that include collabs with the best rappers. He’s currently being held in a federal immigration custody in Georgia and could most likely be deported back to the U.K.
