NEW JERSEY- A woman has been arrested after posing as a high school student and attending classes, according to police.
Hyejeong Shin, 29, was charged after providing falsifying a birth a certificate in order to pose as a 15-year-old and attend classes at New Brunswick High School, according to Metro.
“By filing false documents, an adult female posing as a student was able to be enrolled in our high school,” New Brunswick Superintendent Aubrey Johnson said at a school board meeting.
Shin was also able to attend a few classes before she was busted.
Police were notified when school employees couldn’t identify her parents or legal guardian.
Shin was charged with forging a government document.
