2nd Suspect Arrested In Connection To Shooting Death Of Rapper Rollie Bands

FLORIDA- A second man has been arrested in the deadly shooting of rapper Rollie Bands.

Demon Speed, 29, was arrested on Aug. 9 on an out-of-county arrest warrant by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Speed has been charged with pre-meditated first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

This is the second arrest made in the death of the rapper.

U.S. Marshals arrested Darren Day, 25, on Aug 2. He was charged with first-degree premeditated murder.

Rollie Bands was killed 15 minutes after challenging his enemies on Instagram and giving the address to the apartment complex he was in.

The deadly shooting happened on July 22 at the IQ Apartments. When police arrived at the scene, Rollie was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
