Rapper 2Pac’s stepfather Dr. Mutulu Shakur has reportedly died.
Activist Kamau tweeted that the 72-year-old activist and former member of the Black Liberation Army died Thursday night.

There is no known cause of death, but Shakur had been battling terminal marrow cancer just days before he died.
Matulu Shakur, whose real name was Wayne Williams, is survived by his daughter Sekyiwa.
Shakur was charged for his alleged role in the “expropriation” of $1.6 million from a Brink’s armored truck. He was sentenced to 60 years in prison and served half of his time behind bars before he became eligible for parole in 2016.
