3 people have been charged with murder in the death 17-year-old Asia Cowell, whose body was found in September.
Authorities have charged Crystal Albritton, 30, Devin Aris Albritton, 38, and Dazha Feaster, 18, for allegedly killing Cowell because she was testifying against Albritton’s brother for attempting to rape her, reported PEOPLE.
Cowell was reported missing on Sept. 7, which is the day that authorities believe she was murdered. Her body was discovered in the woods next to a strip club.
Crystal Albritton, who is the sister of the man Cowell was accusing of sexual assault, Feaster, have both been charged with first-degree, conspiracy to commit murder, abduction and using a gun in a felony.
Crystal is also facing an additional charge of criminal solicitation, and according to PEOPLE , Devin Albritton has been charged with single counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Cowell had accused 30-year-old Desean Corum of attempted rape in May. He was charged with attempted rape, sodomy, attempted sodomy, abduction with the intent to defile and strangling.
Charges against Corum were dropped a week after Cowell’s body was found.
