ILLINOIS- 3 teens were arrested and charged after being accused of burglarizing over 100 cars, police say.
Michael T. Staples, 17, Stefan Bulatovic, 18, and Nikolas Pena,18, each face one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle and two counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, NBC reports.
Police say the trio is responsible for over 100 car burglaries in less than one month.
The suspects are believed to have burglarized the cars at night, often hitting up more than a dozen vehicles a night.
They are accused of stealing cash, cell phones, cameras, laptop computers, purses, wallets, GPS systems and other valuables.
