LOS ANGELES- Police have arrested a mother accused of murdering her 3 children.
The LAPD tweeted that police responded on Saturday to a call involving a possible death at an apartment.
When police arrived at the residence, they discovered the bodies of 3 children, who appeared to have stab wounds, reports CBS.
All three children were pronounced dead at the scene
Police say the children’s grandmother discovered their bodies. She also noticed that their mother was missing from the home.
The children were all under the age of 5.
Police tweeted the arrested of Carrillo on Saturday.
“We can confirm Liliana Carrillo is the mother of the three children who were killed, and she is considered the sole suspect in this case,” the LAPD tweeted.
It’s unclear what charges Carrillo is facing.
