VIRGINIA- 3 football players were killed in a mass shooting and two others were injured after a mass shooting at the University of Virginia Sunday night, and the suspect is now in custody police said.
The shooting happened inside of a bus with students that were returning from a class field trip to see a play.
The three victims that were killed have been identified as Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr. and D’Sean Perry.
Police arrested the suspect after a manhunt Monday, and he was identified as student Christopher Darnell Jones Jr.
There is no known motive.
One student has been placed in critical condition and the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
