3 Former Texas High-School Athletes Die After Police Car Chase

TEXAS- Three former High School athletes died in a fiery crash during a high-speed chase with police, police said.

Police attempted to pull over Phabian Bynaum, 19, around 4 p.m. on Thursday as he was allegedly speeding between the towns of Cameron and Milano, which is outside of Austin, according to reports.

He was driving with two passengers, Malik Thomas, 21, and Davarius Bynaum, 20.

(It’s unclear if both Bynaums are related)

Phabian lost control of his vehicle while he was trying to pass another car as police chased them. His vehicle crashed into a tree, went through a fence, flipped and then went up in flames in a field.

The three young men had recently graduated and were athletics at Cameron High School, according to Fox 7 Austin.
