3 Friends Found Dead In Mexico City Airbnb; Deaths Remain A Mystery

MEXICO CITY- Three friends who were vacationing in Mexico City were mysteriously found dead in their Airbnb, police said.

Kandace Florence, and Jordan Marshall, both 2, and Courtez Hall, 33, were visiting Mexico City in Oct. to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos, also known as Day of The Dead.

Florence’s boyfriend, who wasn’t present for the trip, said when he was on the phone with her on Oct. 30, and she said she’d been feeling ill, telling him something wasn’t right, according to WAVY.

The phone call was cut-off, and he never heard from her again.

Her boyfriend told the news station that he immediately called the owner of the Airbnb to perform a welfare check and that’s when the horrific discovery was made.

Police arrived at the scene, finding the bodies of Florence, Hall and Marshall.

The families say they have called the U.S. Embassy but haven’t received any explanations or causes of death, reports WTRK.

Families say they haven’t received their personal belongings that include laptops and wallets. Marshall and Florence’s body are expected to arrive in the states in the coming days.

Florence would’ve turned 29 on Thursday.
