TEXAS – Three juvenile’s that are being called the “Little Rascals” are accused of robbing a bank in Houston, police said.
The unidentified three boys, ages 11, 12, and 13 have all been arrested, according to authorities.
The boys allegedly walked into a Wells Fargo bank in Houston, and allegedly showed a threatening note to a banker.
The boys were suspected of carrying a weapon but didn’t show one. They ran off with some money, but the amount of money is unknown.
Two of the boys were turned in by their parents who recognized them on photos released by the F.B.I.
Many are shocked by the ages of the suspects, with a retired district judge telling a local news outlet “The age of the younger two, that’s unusual for a bank robbery.”
They have been charged with robbery by threat.
If convicted, they could face probation until they are 19.
