PHILADELPHIA – A 3-month-old baby was left at a Walmart Thursday night after a small group attempted to shoplift, police said.
One woman and two men left the infant at the store when they were confronted about the “suspected shoplifting”, according to Philadelphia Police.
After the three suspects were met by security guards, they fled the scene without the infant.
Walmart security called police who took the child to a hospital, and she was evaluated. Her condition was reported to be in “good condition.”
The Department of Human Services then took her into their custody.
