ALABAMA- 3 teenagers have been arrested and charged with murder for the death of another teen, who was found dead.
According to WSFA, Lesley Luna Pantaleon, 17, was last seen by her family on June 24th, when she was leaving her house. She was driving her mother’s 2006 Blue Chevrolet Trailblazer.
When Pantaleon didn’t return home by the end of the day, her family called the police and reported her missing. A week later, police released her photo, and asked for the public’s help in finding her.
Pantaleon’s body was discovered near a creek on July 4th, after police received a tip.
On Tuesday, authorities arrested three 16-year-old girls in Pantaleon’s death.
According to police, Pantaleon got into a fight with the three girls, and they allegedly beat her with a metal pole and stabbed her to death near the creek where her body was found.
After allegedly murdering Pantakeon, the three teens then stole her phone and her mother’s vehicle.
The identities of the teen girls are being withheld due to them being minors.
All three have been charged with capital murder as adults.
