3 Teens Charged With Murder After Rock-Throwing Prank Killed Woman

COLORADO- Three teens were charged with murder and other crimes after allegedly killing in a rock-throwing prank.

Zachary Kwak, Joseph Koenig, and Nicholas “Mitch” Karol-Chik, all 18, were charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree and second-degree assault in the death of Alexis Bartell, according to The Daily News.

They were also charged in connection to six other alleged attacks on six other cars in Denver.

The deadly incident happened on April 19 when the three teens threw three large landscaping rocks and a statue at six passing cars as a sick prank.

One of the rocks smashed through the windshield of Bartell’s car while she was driving, hitting her and sending her car into a field where she died.

Her body was found by her friend who tracked her vehicle after he went missing.
