COLORADO- Three teenage boys have been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a fire that killed an entire family.
The three teens, a 15-year-old and two 16-year-old’s, are accused of setting a home on fire on August 5. The early fire killed Djibril, Adja Diol, their 3-year-old daughter Kadidia, Djibril’s sister Hassan Diol and her daughters Hawa Beye.
Neighbors in the second story house were able to flee.
The teens whose identity must be withheld due to their ages, were arrested on Wednesday.
They have been charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, eight counts of fourth-degree arson, three counts of first-degree arson, first-degree and second degree burglary.
Police don’t believe that the Senegalese family was targeted because of their religion or race.
