NASHVILLE, Tennessee- According to WIVB.com, the three teens, 14-year-old Roniyah McKnight, 15-year-old Diamond Lewis and a 13-year-old suspect who because of his age, can not be named, were thrown out of court by the judge because of their behavior.
The three teens were acting like they were “on a playground” and showed little emotions for the crime that was committed.
The three teens, with two other juveniles, a 12-year-old and 16-year-old Decorrius Wright have been charged with the murder of 27-year-old musician Kyle Yorlets.
Yorlets was shot and killed in his his driveway on Feb. 7th during an attempted robbery after he refused to hand over the cars to his car. A detective who worked on the case, testified that the 13-year-old admitted that he and Wright both had guns and when the victim refused to hand over his keys, “a shot went off.” He also added that the gun didn’t belong to him.
The teens were committing crimes, such as stealing cars before Yorlets was killed.
