VIRGINIA- Three toddlers were taken to a hospital after eating THC-laced fish crackers at a home daycare and the owner has been charged.
According to police, the toddlers’ parents noticed their “lethargic and uncoordinated behavior” and “glassy, bloodshot eyes”, according to a press release by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office on Friday.
After a quick investigation, police linked the crackers back to the daycare where the 3 toddlers attended. Police found the THC- laced crackers next to several highchairs.
The daycare owner, Rebecca Swanner, 60, surrendered her license after CPS were contacted.
Swanner was charged with 3 counts of cruelty and injury to children. She was released on a $2,00 unsecured bond.
