OREGON- A 3-year-old boy has died, after accidentally shooting himself with a handgun in his home.
According to Komo News, 3-year-old James Kenneth Lindquester fatally shot himself in his head on Friday.
The family called 911, and told police that the toddler had gotten the handgun out of a bedroom end table drawer, shooting himself by accident right before 10 p.m..
Lindquester was taken to a Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy will conducted.
Investigators aren’t saying if any charges will be pressed in connection to the boys shooting, but warned parents about gun safety.
