MIAMI, FLORIDA- A 3-year-old boy is dead after he was fatally shot during a birthday party on Saturday night, police say.
The toddler was identified as Elijah LaFrance.
LaFrance was among two people that were shot at an Airbnb rental that was being used for a birthday party, reports CBS Miami.
The toddler was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The second victim, a 21-year-old female, was placed in stable condition.
Witnesses told police that several shots were fired by a male in a car, who then fled the scene.
