MICHIGAN- A 3rd suspect has been charged with murder in the death of a woman who was killed during a home invasion in 2017.
Ray Groom was arraigned in 34th District Court on Thursday, on one count of felony murder and first-degree home invasion.
The first suspect charged in this case, Timothy Eugene Moore, 34, was arraigned in Nov. on charges of first-degree murder, felony murder, first-degree home invasion, four counts of felony firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.
The second suspect Shane Lamar Evans, 31, was arraigned in Dec, and he was charged with murder and first-degree home invasion.
The 27-year-old victim was found bound with lights, with a gunshot wound on June 23, 2017, by her then-boyfriend.
Police believe that Covington knew her killers.
