CALI – A woman is accused of killing her 4-year-old daughter who was found strangled to death.
Maria Avalos, 38, was arrested on charges of suspicion of murder after her daughter was found unresponsive in a car in Los Angeles Thursday night.
Police found 4-year-old Mia Gonzalez unresponsive after they received a call about a child being assaulted. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled Mia’s death as a homicide, caused by strangulation and sharp force injury of the wrist.
Gonzalez was allegedly driving with the girl’s body for days inside of her before she was found.
