$4,500 worth of illegal fireworks seized in Manhattan

NY, NEW YORK- The FDNY seized $4,500 worth of illegal fireworks in Manhattan and 2 men were arrested on Saturday.

According to PIX11, Anthony Quezada, 28, and Hugo Figueroa, 30, were arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and unlawful dealing of fireworks.

The men were busted by fire marshals during an illegal fireworks surveillance investigation.

Fireworks have been injuring toddlers, innocent bystanders, and just causing total chaos, and it’s not even the 4th of July.

There have been over 11,ooo complaints to 311 about illegal fireworks in the past month alone.
