CHICAGO- A 5-month-old baby was killed in a drive-by shooting after she was shot in her head while in her father’s car on Friday, police say.
Cecilia Thomas was in the car around 6 p.m. when a second car approached and opened fire at the vehicle, striking Thomas in the head, WLS-TV reported.
She was rushed to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
A 41-year-old man who was in a separate vehicle was also shot. He was checked in to a hospital and has been placed in good condition.
Police haven’t identified any suspects or made any arrests.
