BUFFALO NEW YORK (WIVB)- Five teenage boys were all indicted on 205 charges of rape, burglary, and kidnapping.
Charges stem from two different incidents.
The first incident occurred in 2020 when two 19-year-old’s, Bryce Baker and Abdiwahab Sabtow, along with a 13-year-old boy broke into a home where there was an 11-year-old girl alone.
The suspects allegedly raped the victim until her mother came home, and then fled the scene with a cellphone. The girl was taken to a Children’s hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.
The second incident happened in Nov. of 2020 when Sabtow was driving through the West Side of Buffalo with a 14-year-old boy and the 13-year-old boy from the first incident, spotting a 16-year-old girl they knew.
The teen suspects picked the girl up and drove her to a park where they allegedly raped her. After the assault, the victim was taken to another location, where they picked up Mr. Baker, who was involved in the first incident, along with another 19-year-old.
Authorities say the girl was allegedly taken to two separate locations where she was raped by all the suspects, and was held against her will inside of a garage for hours until a good Samaritan spotted her walking with no shoes and called 911.
She was taken to a hospital, where she treated for injuries.
Baker and Sabtow are facing up to life in prison if convicted, and the 13-year-old and 14-year-old are facing a maximum of 15 years in prison,
