ALABAMA – A 5-year-old has died after he was fatally shot while sitting inside of a barber shop as he got a haircut.
Brandon Jamel Nation III was with his mother getting at a haircut Sunday morning when shots were fired at the home they were in, police said, according to WBMA.
He was taken to a hospital but died hours later from his injuries.
An adult male who was identified as the barber was also shot. He was listed in critical condition but is expected to live.
Tatyonna Estacia Smith, and Kendrick O’Neal, 26, have both been charged in connection to Brandon’s death, police said. They are charged with attempted murder, capital murder of a person under the age of 14 and capital murder committed from outside a dwelling.
Another suspect, identified as Kedarrius Odell Mack, 25, is also wanted on the same charges, the outlet reports.
