5 years have passed and no arrest in 19-year-old’s murder

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – June 7th will mark five years since 19-year-old Ariel Morgan was killed, and still no arrest has been made.

According to WCSC, on June 7th, 2014, Ariel was attending a house party when a gun fight broke out and Ariel was caught in the crossfire. She died.

There were 800 people at that party, but as many people as there were, nobody has stepped up to help solve her killing and bring peace to her family.

Police blame it on the street code of “no snitching.” They also said that they have some information and it’s believed that she was not the intended target.

Ariel was cremated.

Her mother honored Ariel at Stratford High School on Wednesday where she was a student, a cheerleader and graduated from.

Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office at 843-719-4412.
