ST. LOUIS – Six people who were followers of alleged social media cult leader Jamal White have vanished, police said.

The four adults, and two children disappeared from St. Louis in August, according to their family.

They were reportedly followers of Rashad Jamal White, who goes by Rashad Jamal on social media. His alleged cult “University Of Cosmic Intelligence” is run by his strong beliefs in anti-government, polygamy and other conspiracy conspiracies.

He’s encouraged his followers to leave the grid, and to disconnect from their “family” and “friends.”

The missing includes Mikayla Thompson, 25, her cousin Ma’Kaya Wickerson and Wickerson’s 3-year-old daughter Malaiyah Wickerson, Naaman Williams, 20, Gerrille German, 27, and her 2-year-old daughter Ashton Williams.

Police said they were last seen on August 13 at Quality Inn in Missouri.

Their disappearance comes one day after the self-proclaimed spiritual leader was convicted of child molestation and first-degree child cruelty.

Jamal was sentenced to 18 years in prison and 22 years of probation and is a now a sex offender.

Neighbors of the missing said they would often meditate in the nude in their backyard, were seen burying pennies and hugging trees.

Jamal told the Post-Dispatch in a phone interview from a Georgia prison where he’s currently serving time for being a sex offender, that he doesn’t know the six-missing people and denies he’s a cult leader.
