6 Men Convicted In The Murder Of Chicago Rapper FBG Duck

CHICAGO – Six men have been found guilty in the murder of rapper FBG Duck, six years after he was killed in broad daylight in Chicago.

The men were found guilty Wednesday by a federal jury after they deliberated for two days, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

The shooting happened in August 2020 when two cars pulled up and several gunmen stepped out, opening fire on the rapper who was shopping with his girlfriend in broad daylight around 4:26 p.m.

FBG Duck, whose real name is Carlton Weekly, was killed.

His girlfriend and another shopper were wounded in the attack.

Federal officers tied the brazen shooting to a gang war between Duck’s Tookaville fraction of the Gangster Disciples and the O Block group of the Black Disciples.

One of the suspects, who authorities believe fatally shot the rapper, Charles “C Murder” Jiggins was found guilty on five of seven counts. The jury decided that he committed the murder, engaged in a conspiracy to murder Duck, wounded Duck’s girlfriend, and used a gun in the incident. He was found not guilty of shooting the other shopper.

Kenneth “Kenny Mac” Roberson, one of the getaway drivers was found guilty to five guilty counts. He was found guilty that he committed the murder, engaged in a conspiracy to murder Duck, wounded Duck’s girlfriend, and used a gun in the incident.

Tacarlos “Los” Offerd, alleged gateway driver was also found guilty on five counts, he was found not guilty of the counts for shooting Duck’s girlfriend.

Marcus ‘Muwop” Smart, another alleged gunman was charged with the same offensives as Offerd.

Ralph “Teezy” Turpin, who reportedly signaled the shooters to the location where Duck was at to kill him was found guilty of two counts: murder and conspiracy to commit the murder.

All six men face mandatory life sentences.
