FLORIDA- A 6-year-old girl is dead after she was shot and killed leaving a party.
Chassidy Saunders was fatally shot on Saturday, as she was leaving her friend’s birthday party in Miami around 7 p.m., according to Miami Herald.
According to WSVN, neighbors told police that they heard about 20 gunshots fired as families were leaving the residence. They said it sounded like the bullets came from more than one gun.
Police believe that the shooter or shooters opened fire from inside of a car, and their intended target was a man and a woman were sitting in a parked car outside of the home. Someone from the party returned fire, and Chassidy was caught in the crossfire.
There no suspects in custody as of now.
